The Claude Tax is a guide, in two forms. An interactive HTML file you work through in a browser, and a 16-page PDF for keeping beside you.
Nothing to install, no account, no dependencies. The HTML is self-contained and every interactive feature works with no internet connection.

What is not included

Is this not all in the docs for free?
Some of it is, spread across a dozen pages, and some of what is written elsewhere is now out of date. This is the current version, ranked by impact, with a diagnostic that tells you which three of the eighteen techniques are actually yours.
Nineteen dollars for a PDF?
It is a PDF and an interactive guide with a scored self-audit, an estimator and a decision tree — none of which a PDF can do. If it saves you twenty minutes once, it has paid for itself.

Then this is not about money and we will not pretend it is. It is about not hitting the five-hour window and not losing half-finished work when the context fills.
Does it work for the Claude app, not just Claude Code?
Yes. Section 00 routes you by surface, and every technique carries a badge showing where it applies. Pick Chat and the audit shows you the seven questions that concern you rather than all fourteen. Cowork gets its own chapter.
Will it go stale?
The mechanics — the full conversation re-sent with every message, configuration loaded at session start — are architectural. Individual commands change, and the guide tells you to verify against current documentation.
How much will it save me?
That depends entirely on your workflow, and the guide says so in the same words. There is an estimator inside that does the arithmetic on your numbers. We do not publish a percentage we cannot stand behind.
